2-Day Acting For Film & TV Workshop (Level 1)
Application Procedure:
To book a place in our 2-Day Acting For Film & TV Workshop (Level 1), you must complete an application form (online or via phone).
Application Confirmation:
Once we’ve received your application form, we’ll send you an email confirming this. Your place in your nominated course is only confirmed and guaranteed once full payment of the course fees, or at a minimum a $99 course deposit has been paid.
Payment Of Course Fees:
We have two payment options for you to consider.
To book a place in our 2-Day Acting For Film & TV Workshop (Level 1), you must complete an application form (online or via phone).
Application Confirmation:
Once we’ve received your application form, we’ll send you an email confirming this. Your place in your nominated course is only confirmed and guaranteed once full payment of the course fees, or at a minimum a $99 course deposit has been paid.
Payment Of Course Fees:
We have two payment options for you to consider.
Option 1: Full Payment:
Once you have completed the application form, you can opt to pay your full course fees. Option 2: Course Deposit: Once you have completed the application form, you can opt to pay a course deposit of $99. This payment secures your place in the course, and is deducted from your total course fees. The balance of your course fees are to be paid by the Thursday prior to the course date. If you opted to pay your course deposit by Visa or Mastercard, we will simply charge the same card the Thursday prior to the course date. |
Fees & GST:
All fees shown are in Australian Dollars (AUD). All our course fees include GST at the current rate of 10%. Course fees include tuition on the day(s), all relevant course materials, along with a basic morning and afternoon tea.
Special Requirements:
We always make every effort to accommodate special requirements that have been notified in advance. Please let us know if you have any special requirements by email.
Course Transfers:
A student upon registering for our 2-Day Acting For Film & TV Workshop (Level 1) is eligible to move or transfer to the same course type on another date only once. This transfer can only be approved if we are notified in writing (email) at least seven calendar days prior to the course date, in addition you are required to select a new course date by the commencement of your original course date. However a transfer fee of $55 is applicable to all course transfers. In the event that you transfer to a new course date, you will be charged the course transfer fee of $55 automatically to the credit or debit card we have on file for you once you have confirmed your new course date. The standard balance of your course fees (if any) will be moved to the Thursday prior to the new course date.
If you transfer to a future course date and you do not attend this course date, you will still be liable for the balance of the course fees (if any) and they will be charged to your Visa or Mastercard on file the Thursday prior to the second course date. Please note that we are not able to transfer your place a second time. You will need to pay the full course fees again if you wish to attend the course at a future date.
If you enrol in our 2-Day Acting For Film & TV Workshop (Level 1) and are not able to attend your nominated course date, we’re only able to transfer you to the same course type. We’re not able to transfer courses fees (or part course fees) to another course type. We’re not able to transfer courses fees (or part course fees) to another student / customer.
Cancelling Your Place:
Our cancellation policy is based on the type of payment you are making.

Option 1: Full Payment:
If you choose to cancel your place in the course within three calendar days of paying your full course fees, we will issue you with a full refund less a cancellation fee of $99. If you choose to cancel your place in the course for whatever reason after four calendar days from paying your full course fees, we are not able to offer a refund. Option 2: Course Deposit: If you choose to cancel your place in the course within three calendar days of paying your course deposit, we are not able to offer a refund as your course deposit will act as your cancellation fee, however you will not be liable for the balance of the course fees. If you choose to cancel your place in the course for whatever reason after four calendar days from paying your course deposit, we are not able to offer a refund. If you opted to pay your course deposit by Visa or Mastercard, the balance of your course fees will be charged to the same card the Thursday prior to the course date, unless you opt to transfer your place in the course to a future course date (please read "Course Transfers"). |
Non-Attendance:
If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked for whatever reason and have not given us prior notice (email) (please read "Course Transfers"), we are not able to transfer you to a future course or offer you a refund. If you wish to attend a future course date you will need to re-enrol and pay your course fees again.

If you're unhappy for any reason once you have completed the full course, simply let your teacher know at the end of the second day prior to leaving the workshop, and we'll have a refund issued to you within 30 working days. If you paid by credit or debit card, we are only able to offer you a refund to the same card you used to pay for the course. If you paid with bank transfer, cheque or cash, we are only able to offer a cheque refund.
Refunds Issued:
In the event we issue you a refund, this may take up to 28 working days to appear in your account.
Declined Payments:
If you opt to pay any of your course fees by Visa or Mastercard, and any of your payments decline, you will be charged a dishonour fee of $11. In the event your payment declines, we will try to charge your card again with 24 hours. Your dishonour fee of $11 will be added to the payment amount. If your payment declines after the second attempt, you may also be charged a Late Payment Fee (please read "Late Payments").
Late Payments
In the event you need to change the date of a scheduled payment, you are required to let us know by 4pm a full three (3) working days prior to the payment date. If you do so you will not be charged any late payment fees and will be able to move your payment up to 10 working days in the future. However if you change the scheduled date of a payment within 3 working days of a payment or after, or you need more than 10 additional days to pay you will be charged a Late Payment Fee of $11.
Payment Plan:
If we allow you to pay your course fees on a personalized Payment Plan, a once-off set-up fee of $22 may apply. Each payment may also be subject to a $2.20 transaction fee. A payment plan means any payment schedule of three or more payments until the original course fees are paid off. The standard course deposit and balance of course fees is not considered a payment plan as this is only two payments.
Changes By Us:
Where circumstances dictate, we reserves the right to alter published programmes, trainers, fees or venues without prior notice. In the event of a course being moved to a new date, we'll try to offer you a place in a future course date of the same course type within three months of your original course date. In the event we can't offer you a place in a future course date of the same course type within three months of your original course date as these courses are full or unavailable for any reason we'll offer you a full refund on any course fees already paid, and waive any balance of course still owing for this course. No compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred by the student in the event of any changes we make.
Dress Code:
There is no dress code; however, most participants choose to wear smart casual clothing. Due to variable temperatures of air conditioned rooms, layers are advised.
Liability:
We are a training provider and not a recruitment service, thus we do not offer any guarantee or promise that your will secure work or employment within the film, television or stage industry by completing any of our courses.
We are not liable for the personal belongings of any student, even though such belongings may be required for a course. We are not liable for injury caused to a student whilst attending one of our courses.
By attending any of our courses you agree and understand that we may take your photo or film you. These photos and or videos can be used for public display and you agree and understand you will not receive any payment or royalty for your part in the photos or videos. If you wish not to have a photo or video of you take, you must inform us in writing (email: [email protected]) at the most 48 hours of the course finishing.

Our Terms Of Service are correct at time of print and may change at any time without notice.
