Our HistoryActing Classes In Perth was founded in 2004 when Loren had the idea to start local acting classes after working on a Perth based TV series in 2003 because he saw that Perth was lacking in quality acting classes that taught both the craft of acting and the business side.

StudentsOur students are of all ages (from 13 through to 80+) and come from all backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common, they want more from life: more fun & enjoyment, more creativity, and more personal achievement & success. We welcome everyone to our courses and love helping a broad variety of people realise their acting aspirations.
Our students start with little or no acting experience but the majority go on to successfully pursue their passion and work in film, tv and stage productions all around the world. And these were everyday Perth people just like you, who took that first step! It's not as hard as you might think it is. Others come and enjoy the creative and fun outlet we provide from their everyday jobs and stressful lives and make life-long friends. Loren Johnson, the school's founder, is the main acting coach who has a background in directing, and is known for his friendly and fun teaching style but also his ability to teach specific screen acting techniques that make our students so successful in landing roles. Providing Loren support at the courses are local Perth actors. We also have industry guest lecturers, some of which have included: Mark DeFriest (US Director), Glenn Hayden (International Director), Marie Rodger (Casting Director), Sue Taylor (Producer), Jenni Cohen (Casting Director), Brendan Ellis (Actor / Director), Joshua Walker (Actor / Director), Pia Prendiville (Actress), Maxine Howel-Price (Talent Agent), Theresa Huska (Talent Agent), Nerida Moore (Talent Agent) plus many more.
