The Top 3 Ways To Overcome Yourself As An Obstacle
Video Transcript:
Hi everyone and welcome it’s Loren here from Acting Classes in Perth. In this free online acting class, The Top 3 Ways To Overcome Yourself As An Obstacle.
Now, first of all I want you to get together with some really close acting friends that you can trust and I want you to ask their open, honest and constructive feedback on how you are going and also maybe some feedback and advice on some of the scenes that you may have been a part of with them, workshops or even if you have done some short films or film work and you’ve got that on footage.
Or maybe they have been to a play that you have been in. ask them to give you some open, honest and constructive feedback. And then what I want you to do with that information is I want for you to listen and I want you to process what they are saying. Now, I know it can be incredibly difficult to fully take constructive criticism and advice when people are giving it to you but I want you to try your best to be as open and honest with them as well because you are going to be asking them some questions about what they are talking about.
And then once they have given you their thoughts on some areas that they liked and also some areas that maybe you need to improve on, you are then going to figure out a way that you can act on that information and start to implement that into your future character, work or future auditions or a workshop environment, sorry, anything like that.
I hope you have a great day ahead until I see you next time, stay safe and as always, happy acting.
