Hi everyone and welcome, it’s Loren here from Acting Classes In Perth. In this FREE Online Acting Class, The Top 3 Things You Need To Know About The Story Within A Script
1.Identify Your Story:
You need to identify what the story is that you are telling. If you’ve ever done a workshop with us here at Acting Classes In Perth, you know we always start with story, story, story. Why? Because it is so important. It’s the first starting point for any script you get. So make sure you identify what story you are telling and make sure everybody is on the same page. All the actors and the director, and the director of photography. Everyone has to be on the same page.
2.Identify Why You Are Telling The Story:
Now, you also then need to identify why you are telling that story, or more importantly, why your character is a part of that overall story. And also how they are a part of that overall story.
3.Know Why People Are Interested:
And finally, you need to know why people are going to watch this. Why are people interested? How are they engaging with the story and why are they engaging with the story.
Well, there you have it. From myself and everyone here at Acting Classes In Perth, we hope you have a great day and week ahead. Stay safe and until we see you next time, happy acting.
