Video Transcript:
Hi, everyone, and welcome, it's Loren here, from acting classes in Perth. In this free online acting class we're looking at The Top 3 Reasons Why It Is So Important To Look At How Much You Have Achieved
And there's three key things you have to do:
Number one is make sure that you identify just how far you've come since you started. We go through life, we have all these things and all these goals we want to achieve but, seldomly, we take time to stop and actually look back at what we have achieved, so I want you to do that. I want you to look at how much you actually had achieved since you’ve started acting.
And, number two, I also want you to have a bit of a think about where you didn't do so well in the past and then also were you did do really well. You know, we often hear the saying “learning from your mistakes” and that's great but then you are really learn what you didn't do that well. So, what I want you to do is I also want you to learn from your successes. I want you to think about and identify what you did really well, maybe in character development or in an audition or in a show film or maybe even in a class.
And I want you to identify that and than do more of that.
And then that leads us into the next one which is identifying and reevaluating where we wanna take our acting. Because it may have actually change from when you started acting. So, sit down, have a think, have a plan of some short, mid and long term goals. And here's the key – make them attainable and achievable.
Well, there you have it, guys. It's been an absolute pleasure for myself and team here at acting classes in Perth. I hope that you have a great day ahead. Stay safe and, as always – happy acting.
