Acting Courses (Beginners Level)

Is this course for beginners? 
Yes.  Most of our students are beginners, who have no or little experience with acting, so come along and find out how much fun acting school can be!

Who will be running the course?
Our courses are run by Australian directors and actors. Each course is different as availability of industry guests is restricted due to their work load.

How many people attend each course?
We usually have 20 - 25 students.  Past student surveys have found this a desired number, allowing students the opportunity to move amongst the group and work with a greater variety of performers throughout the course duration.  

What is the age range of people who attend your courses?
This course is divided into two age groups:  Teenagers: 13 - 17 and Adults 18+ and over. The groups are run at the same time however the teenagers are separated during most of the the day for rehearsals.

Do you operate as an agency?
No.  However we do forward all casting information that passes our desk to the relevant students, both past and present. Many of our students go on to do local films, TV shows and TV commercials. 

When do I have to pay?
We will contact you within 48 hours of your application. You can secure your place with a $99 course deposit and then pay the balance on the first day of the course. If you pay your course deposit by credit or debit card, your balance will automatically be charged the first day of the course, as we do not take cash payments at the course. 

Do you offer payment plans / financial help?
Yes.  Students that may have trouble paying their fees can apply for a weekly payment plan. Simply Contact Us for relevant information and forms. additional charges to apply to our weekly payment plans, please visit our Terms Of Service page

Will food or refreshments be provided?
Yes, We will provide a basic morning tea and afternoon tea.  But you must provide your own lunch. 

Will I get a certificate at the end of the course?
Yes.  Students can opt to receive a Certificate Of Completion and a letter outlining their units studied.  These will be posted to students who request them.

Do you have a refund policy?

What will I need to bring?
Usually we ask students to bring a pen, pad and water.  However we will send you a letter outlining what is required prior to each course.
